At the end of the two days of the International Symposium, we held a "feedback session" - a discussion time mainly among speakers from foreign countries. The purposes of this session were twofold: feedback on the NIME, and feedback on the speakers' own research and development projects. Given the informal nature of the session, which was held after dinner, it was very frank and open. Nonetheless, it yielded for the NIME and its future symposiums. In a sense, it was a counterpart of the evaluation by the Japanese audience because we could compare both evaluations from a cultural viewpoint on the basis of the evaluations' status as audience or speaker between Japanese and foreigners or their status between audience and speakers. Therefore we summarize the session in the following five points.
