Recently encountering global warming issue actuality, need of taking countermeasures are increased. And in the countermeasures, energy conservation measures are closed up widely. This paper presents about energy manager promoting this energy conservation in Type 1 designated energy management factory under the Energy Conservation Law in Japan. Energy manager generally conducts his duties of next five contents; (1) maintenance and management of energy consumption equipment, (2) improvement and observation of method of energy use, (3) maintenance and management about rationalization of energy consumption equipment, (4) about periodical reporting on energy use, (5) about long-term plan for achieving the energy conservation target. So, energy manager is expected to be energy professional technical special engineer. For bringing up this expected energy manager, Stage by stage energy education is needed.
