• This paper introduces the human resources development of the maintenance engineering works section in the JR East general education center, which is the education foothold of East Japan Railway Company. In this training program, technical succession to the younger staff member is positively performed. The study consists of the basic technology training that new employees attend and the applied training that expert employees attend with each clear purpose. In order to enhance educational effects, the inspection that utilized engineering works structure, non destructive inspection training is also performed.
