This paper examined the effects of experiences in childcare on readiness for parenthood in junior high school students, focusing on sex difference and effects of short childcare learning activities at nursery or kindergarten. The questionnaire was answered by 119 boys, 107 girls of 13 year old. The main results were as follows: 1. Student's negative image to infant has declined through short (3hours) participating in childcare learning activities. 2. Boys were different from girls in effect of childcare learning activities. I suggested that it is necessary to develop the programs and methods for boys concerning experiences childcare activities and to train readiness for fatherhood.
