• For the examination of possible number of generation within a year, Oxalis corniculata form, rubifolia were cultivated under field condition by sowing every month from May to Nobember, 1992, and the dates of germination, first flowering and first ripening were recorded. Relationships between the velocity of development for each developmental stage and the daily mean temperature in the experimental period approximately satisfied the reciprocal equation of linear factor or the reciprocal equation of optimum factor with the corection term of lower threshold temperature. By the relationships between the dates of sowing and first ripening estimated from daily mean temperature, Oxalis corniculata form. rubifolia was expected to be able to repeat three generations within a year.
