In late years "Shokuiku" in nursery school is made much of, and the ability of the nursery teacher who can practice "Shokuiku" becomes the important problem. Here, we regarded the actual situation of the consciousness about "Shokuiku" of the nursery teacher as questionary survey through childcare activity observation and clarified what was a problem and examined a problem in the training school for nursery teachers. As a result of investigation, it was thought that there was the low interest in food culture and food / farm products for a problem about "Shokuiku" practice of the nursery teacher. We thought that a viewpoint of "a meal and the environment" was important and, for an action by the training education, showed a possible thing to the solution for the simple compost making that was the teaching materials which could realize a function of the soil.
