The Wayland algorithm has been improved in order to evaluate the degree of visible determinism for dynamics that generate simple and accurate time series data. We show that the double-Wayland algorithm can distinguish between numerical solutions generated by a deterministic process and those generated by a stochastic process. This new algorithm was applied to the detection of anomalous signals in some fields of engineering such as the analysis of railway systems and electrograms. We investigated whether the estimated translation error was the same at large S/N ratios. As a result, we found that the translation error estimated by the double-Wayland algorithm weakly depended on the noise amplitude.
