Electric and magnetic screening masses in the quark-gluon plasma are studied from lattice QCD with two flavors of improved wilson quarks at temperatures T/T_<pc>∼1-4 where T_<pc> is the pseudocritical temperature. Using the Euclidean-time reflection symmetry and the charge conjugation symmetry, we introduce various types of Polyakov-loop correlation under the Coulomb gauge fixing and extract the electric screening mass (m_E) and the magnetic screening mass (m_M), separately. We find the inequality m_M<m_E<2m_M in the temperature interval we have studied. Also the screening ratio m_E/m_M∼1.5 found agrees well with the prediction using AdS/CFT correspondence.
