We consider QCD near but above T_c. Lattice simulation shows that the pressure, susceptibilities and renormalized Polyakov loop, which are static observables, dramatically change up to a couple of T_c. We show that the shear viscosity, which is one of dynamical observables, also dramatically changes, and is suppressed by two powers of the Polyakov loop near T_c in perturbation theory [Y. Hidaka and R. D. Pisarski, arXiv: 0803.0453]. This suggests that η/T^3 decreases markedly as QCD cools down to temperatures near T_c.
