生活造形手芸の教育内容に関する一考察

There is no fixed etaching material for today's handicraft education at college. The teachers devise their classes by choosing and organizing what will arouse the students' interest and make their lives abundant. We sent out a questionnair to our students asking them what they learned in their former school days. We searched into the content of their home economics classes from the 5th year at elementary school to the 3rd year at high school. In addition, we made an investigation into the actual condition of the studednts who have taken our handicraft courses for the past four years, grouping them depending upon their works. It was found that there was a lot of handicraft education contained in their former home economics classes at elementary school and high school. Concering our handicraft courses, every student made some works. It was made clear that the students' strong interest helps their teacher to run the class at a proper pace and to know what she should teach. As the result, her class becomes useful for developing each student's personality and making the students' lives abundant.
