We propose a new method to improve the ARPEES, an Adaptive Routing Protocol with Energy efficiency and Event clustering for wireless Sensor networks. We aim to spread energy consumption required for forming cluster, selecting cluster head, and relaying data to different sensor nodes to prolong the whole network lifetime. The proposed protocol was implemented in simulation and compared with three existing routing protocols. The results show that our method achieves best performance.
