Features integrated into mobile phones are increasing in both quantity and quality. Audio capabilities started with monaural sound, but some recent models include 3D spatial sound rendering. This rapid development enables novel applications for mobile users. We introduce a software framework for mobile audio which provides creation of spatialized sound. Virtual presence is supported in the form of avatars with controllable attendance and privacy features. Utilizing this framework, a mobile musical concert application is presented with a customizable configuration of the soundscape.
