This paper presents a potential for a passive control of horseshoe vortex at the root of a wing. NACA0024 wing is established on a turbulent boundary layer. A pair of vortex generators of half delta wing is installed upstream of the wing. The horseshoe vortex is remarkably controlled in Common Flow Up Configuration of vortex generators pair. Distortion of the total pressure loss contours is diminished by 49% of non-vortex generator case. The mass flow averaged total pressure loss is decreased by 16% and the vortex is located closer to the wing. On the other hand, in case of Common Flow Down Configuration, the mass flow averaged total pressure loss is decreased by 29%.
