Research and development program of Advanced Material Gas-Generator was initiated in 1993. Basic key technologies for high performance gas-generator using advanced materials are under development in the program. The program also contains the sensor research in the field of the gas-generator measurement, and is developing the sensor that is able to operate under high temperature and provide immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI). We have fabricated an optical fiber pressure sensor based on Fabry-Perot interferometer with built-in temperature compensation. The evaluation tests were performed at pressures up to 5MPa, temperatures up to 350℃, and the good results were obtained. At constant temperature, sensor hysteresis, nonlinearity and repeatability were 0.37%,+0.35%/-0.07%,±0.20% of full scale pressure, respectively. Concerning the temperature coefficients, the change of pressure sensitivity to temperature change was obtained in small value. And the change of pressure zero point to temperature change was also gained as designed value.
