• The results of analysis and basing of approach to selection of the type of the gas-turbine engine (GTE) gas-generator using the structural ceramic materials are presented in the paper. The studies were performed in relation to the tendency of the power increase in the developed GTE with ceramic components coming to light in the recent years and the widening of the field of their practical application. The analysis was conducted on the basis of the block-modular buildup of the gasgenerator constuction with consideration of the thermogasdynamic, engineering, and thermostrength factors.
