In this paper the investigation is made for rectilinear comprssor cascades with a ordinary straight blade and a 25 deg. leaned blade. The test blade profile is a large camber NACA-65 blade series. The ink traces method is used for flow visualization. From the five-hole probe measurements at the exit planes of cascades and the flow visualizations, it can be concluded that the positive leaning can cause the corner stall to be eleminated while the negative leaning will make the corner stall become larger. And an atempt is being made on the explanation for the mechanism of reducing losses while the blade is leaned.
