At steel works, hot air of 4.5kg/cm^2G and of 1000〜1300℃ is supplied to a blast furnace. A set of 3 or 4 hot stoves, is typically used to heat up the air which is led to the blast furnace. For these hot stoves-blast furnace system, gas turbines combined with hot stoves are useful to save thermal energy of fuels, which is supplied to hot stoves system. Three type of gas turbine-hot stoves systems are studied ; A_1 (Fig.2), A_2 (Fig.3) and B (Fig.4). When thermal efficiency is defined as following, η_3=Output (kw×860) from the system/(Heat energy supplied to new system-Fundamental heat energy supplied to typical hot stove) thermodynamical efficiency η_3 is respectively 46.2% for A_1, 85.8% for A_2 and 40〜102% for B.
