Five groups of full annular turbine cascades with different divergent angles of outer walls and diameter-blade height ratio d/h=3 are tested. The experimental results show that the secondary flow losses in the hub region of the cascades is increased rapidly with the increase in the divergent outer wall angles. Employing the leaned blades can effectively reduce the secondary flow loss in the hub region of the cascade with the divergent outer wall. For the cascade with the different divergent angles of the outer wall there exists an optimal lean angle of the blades, corres-ponding to the minimum energy loss coefficient. The function-relation between the optimal lean angle and the divergent outer wall angle is nonotonic.
