概要

• XF3-30 turbofan engine has been developed for the XT-4 intermediate trainer for the Japan Defence Agency. The engine is the low bypass ratio turbofan engine with thrust of 16.38kN. The qualification of the engine was completed in March, 1986 after approximately 7 years full scale development. Flight testing of the XT-4 trainers powered by two XF3-30 engines are underway in excellent conditions.
