731 COMBINATION METHOD FOR TETRAHEDRAL-4 ELEMENT MODAL ANALYSIS

This paper presents a novel approach based on the combination of the mesh simplification technique and p-refinement method applying to the tetralhedral-4 element in order to increase the modal analysis result's accuracy within the acceptable calculation time. The outcome shows that our approach provides similar accuracy to the tetralhedral-10 element which is generally be used for normal solid part analysis with a little shorter consuming time.
