Since the start of these projects, tangible results have been obtained. It deserves special mention that in the CGT Projects a thermal efficiency of over 33% has been achieved. It is extremely satisfactory for all people involved with these projects that ceramics, which have only a short history as a structural material, have been successfully incorporated in a gas turbine operating under very exacting condition and confirmed the prospect that they can share the load with conventional metal components. The project is making incessant strides towards its ultimate goal and we are looking forward to future achievements.
