To help maintain a clean global environment, a total solution to energy, resource and environmental problems will be necessary. Gas turbines offer one major solution since they can utilize energy effectively alone or in combination with other devices, achieving a decrease in emissions and making it possible to accommodate a variety of fuels. It will be necessary to make further efforts in the development of gas turbines that will ensure higher efficiency, decreased emissions, and fuel diversity.
