Income distribution is an issue of direct interest to employees in enterprises, which is a key part of human resource management. With the intensive implementation of market-oriented economic reform and economic globalization, the old Income distribution system is not in line with the development of enterprises within the modern market-oriented economic system. Therefore, how to improve the old income distribution system has become an important subject of study in modern Chinese state-owned enterprises. Against this background, the present article surveys the problems of the old income distribution system based in the 1950s and analyzes the process, performance and problems that have emerged regarding the recent income distribution system reform in state-owned enterprises. Based on these analyses, the study examines the trends of the income distribution system in modern Chinese state-owned enterprises. The study presents suggestions in an effort to provide some useful references for improving the income distribution system. Organization of the article: Firstly, the article surveys the old income distribution system in state-owned enterprises before the implementation of the Economic Reform and Open-door Policy. Secondly, it analyzes the trends and performance of the Income distribution system reform in recent years. Finally, it summarizes the existing problems in the income distribution system in modern Chinese state-owned enterprises and at the same time gives some suggestions for solving these problems.
