The Internet enables us to freely access music as recorded sound and even music scores. For the visually impaired, music scores should be translated into Braille music scores which are modified to meet individual requirements. This paper proposes a web-based translation system from music data with the MusicXML format to on-demand Braille scores for universal access to music scores. The prototype web-based system is developed based on a framework with two-staged structure transformation and morphemic transformation using a structural model of Braille music notation. It was verified that the obtained Braille scores were correctly translated to meet individual requirements specified by selecting the menu. Using this framework, it should be possible to provide Braille music scores for the visually impaired via the Internet.
