The Effective Permittivities (EPs) at the inclined dielectric interface in a Yee's cell are calculated and evaluated by using the boundary conditions and numerical reflection coefficient. At the interface of two dielectric media, EPs must be determined to preserve the relations between the field components on adjacent sides of the boundaries with high accuracy in the FDTD analysis. In order to evaluate the calculated accuracy of effective permittivity at the dielectric boundary, the numerical reflection coefficient is analyzed and computed by applying the proposed EPs approach. The numerical analysis is performed for several examples and confirmed that the proposed EPs have high accuracy. Moreover, it is confirmed that the evaluation method for high accuracy EPs of a Yee cell with inclined dielectric material is a suitable and useful for FDTD method.
