A 1/n expansion of the random easy axis model in the annealed case and in the quenched case with the replica method is investigated. The explicit form of the 1/n expansion terms of the partition function is derived. There are three saddle point equations, and one saddle point bifurcates. We study the equation of state up to order 1/n above T^*_c in detail and derive the deviations of the exponents from those of the ordinary 1/n expansion in a special case.
