概要

• Since heavy-ion beams became available, much progress has been made on the understandings of both the structure of nuclei in highly excited states and the mechanism of collisions between two composite nuclear systems. We will comment on two topics: 1) a massive transfer reaction as a probe to excite high-spin states (in collaboration with K.-I. Kubo, Tokyo Metropolitan Univ.), and 2) nuclear structure of high-spin states with finite temperature. Materials presented here are from the works performed at Cyclotron Institute, Texas A&M Univ., where both of us stayed. Here we report only on the basic ideas and the detailed results will be reported elsewhere.
