On the Geometric Genus of Hypersurface Isolated Singularities

• In this work we show some results of the geometric genus of hypersurface isolated singularities. Our presentation goes as follows : In Sect. 1, we recall a few preliminaries related to the concept of the geometric genus of normal isolated singularities. In Sect. 2, we prove the p_g-formula for non-degenerate hypersurface isolated singularities, which is a generalization of Corollary 1.14 [8, p.72]. In the last section we show some examples, which teach us how to use the practical means for computing p_g in many cases.
