We study a fair division problem with indivisible items like jobs, houses, and one divisible good like money. It is assumed that each individual is assigned with a single item and a certain amount of money. The preferences of individuals over the items are unknown but individuals are assumed to have quasi-linear utilities in money. A mechanism is discussed here that elicits honest preferences, and that assigns the items with money to individuals efficiently and fairly.
