The sentence of "Zou-ga naga-i-no-wa hana-da" can be analyzed as coming from "Zou-no hana-ga naga-i" by changing the modified noun of "hana" to the comment element. There are three kinds of attribute before the modified noun : attribute made of noun, of adjective and of verb. When the attribute is made of noun, the cleft sentence can be formed with the modified noun but it will be restricted by the condition of vocabulary selection. When the attribute is made of adjective or of verb, which forms a relative clause, the cleft sentence can be formed with the modified noun but it will be restricted sometimes by the "condition of concreteness noun". When the attribute is made of verb, which forms an appositive clause, the cleft sentence cannot be formed with the modified noun.
