Aerodynamic sound generated from block with complex boundary shapes can be simulated by three methods : (i) Direct numerical method on the compressible Navier-Stokes equations (DNS), (ii) Acoustic/viscous splitting method, and (iii) Hybrid method applied an acoustic analogy to the results from incompressible flow analyses. In this study, acoustic feature is evaluated by Hybrid Method, in which Curie's equation is applied to an acoustic analogy and a Discrete Vortex Method is applied to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), with a view of short computational time. The Discrete Vortex Method has been used for variety of incompressible high Reynolds number flows as a simple numerical simulation method, and this method has a merit in a point of easy treating for wake vortices. In this paper, I introduce several types of computational procedures of unsteady force and pressure for the Discrete Vortex Method, and also those of time differential of pressure for an acoustic analogy.
