• Density and potential fluctuations are measured simultaneously with a Heavy Ion Beam Probe (HIBP) in whole regime in Compact Helical System (CHS), using enhanced beam current ion source. The density fluctuation measurement with the HIBP has path integral effect. A method is proposed to evaluate local density fluctuations by removing the path integral effect. The fluctuation amplitude profile and spectrum are reconstructed experimentally by applying the method to the HIBP on CHS.
