We examine the low energy effective theories of Gauge-Higgs unification (GHU) models. We find that the effective theories are described only by the zero-modes, with a particular renormalization condition. We call this condition as "Gauge-Higgs condition". This means that we can describe the low energy theory as the Standard Model (SM) constrained by this condition if a model of the GHU is the UV completion of the SM. This approach will be a powerful tool to investigate the low energy phenomena of GHU models.
