Algorithms for the self-consistent mean-field (Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov as well as Hartree-Fock) calculations using the Gaussian expansion method have been developed. These algorithms are advantageous in giving appropriate asymptotics and in handling various interactions including finite-range ones. The methods are demonstrated by the calculations for oxygen isotopes and for N=16,32 nuclei.
