Guided Scrambling(GS) is used for the control of runlength within code blocks, such as d or k, as well as for DC component suppression. It is a coding technique which archive a code rate very close to the channel capacity. Typically technique uses a conventional operation or GF(Galois field) addition. In this paper, we propose a hardware configuration using ROM tables and also compare the ROM table sizes of both operations.
