Togo MURANO is known as one of the architects who typified the times in modern Japan. His work and thought have still been influenced people now. This study includes a description of Togo MURANO, and explains a part of his thought process. The style and the moral sense of his work are analyzed using ideas from the document "Toward to new style". Togo MURANO tried to avoid an architecture dictated by one style, and tried to always create works based on his moral sense. A moral sense develops in relating to society. He tried to create a new style rich with his moral sense. As a result, four points under Togo MURANO's descriptions of his "Toward to new style" have been extracted.
