Introducing a Process Approach into the "English Writing" Classes

This research paper will explore how the process approach to writing might help L2 learners. Especially I will address Japanese L2 learners of English at the threshold level. Five samples containing specific problems that students have will be used for this discussion. A brief description of the process approach will be made followed by an in depth analysis of how the process approach might or might not remedy their problems. In conclusion I will summarize the most important points for teachers.
