This study examines how Residential Treatment Center Workers approach to abused children, and what subjective experiences they do approaching abused children. Narrative data was collected from 13 people working at Residential Treatment Center. A qualitative analysis was applied to the data, producing five major categories. The categories are : "The feeling of not owning the base of the relationship jointly, " "The feeling of being in volved" "The adjusting, " "The getting weaker, " "The characteristic of approaching." These categories make the process "The getting accustomed" centering around "The feeling of not owning the base of the relationship jointly." Approaching abused children, workers have little experience in owning the base of the relationship jointly with abused children. While he or she is hurt by that experience, they try to cope with having little owning the base of the relationship jointly by adjusting their approaches or their own subjective experiences.
