ABAN AYA violence prevention program showed significant reduction in growth of violence among high-risk African American male subjects (Flay et al., 2002) from 5^<th> to 8^<th> grade. This paper further investigates for which subjects the program is most effective using growth mixture model (Muthen et al. 2002). We find that our prevention program is highly effective to highscore subjects but has little effect on low-score subjects.
