Thin film CdS/CdTe solar cells fabricated on SnO_2:F-coated glass have been found to have higher efficiencies than similar cells produced on indium-tin oxide (ITO) and tin oxide layer on indium-tin oxide (ITO/SnO_2)-coated glass substrate. The transmission measurements revealed that SnO_2:F was the most stable transparent conductive oxide.
