Structures of planar ablative flow in a laser produced plasma are studied by fluid simulation. The perturbation resulting from the target surface roughness is analyzed under the unsteady condition. The spatial dependences of perturbations show several features depending on the perturbation wavelength and laser intensity. The exponentially changed profiles are observed for long perturbation wavelengths compared with the standoff distance. But for short wavelength perturbations, sinusoidary oscillating profiles are observed. These results are compared with those of the theoretical linear analysis in planar ablative flow.
