The HII/L2 project is to launch a 3.5m telescope, which will be cooled down to 4.5K inspace, in order to observe an early universe, z〜2 or more, in the mid- and far-infrared wavelengthsfrom the Lagrange 2 point. Although this project has just started its concept examination phase, some range of technical feasibility study has been carried out by the HII/L2 Working Group.
