概要

• The first course in advanced calculus which follows elementary calculus is a critical one for students who are seriously interested in mathematics. Although an intuitive discussion will satisfy students who are not interested in detailed proofs, the complete proofs should be also included for those who prefer a more rigorous presentation. In this article, some teaching materials and teaching methods are described in detail. Many of these were suggested by classroom experience.
