A questionnaire survey on professional Imagery by the semantic differential method was executed, using the class in Training Schools for nurse, nutritionist, and welfare Profession. Respondents were 675 students from 4 colleges, 3 were in Japan and I was of nursing college in US. Questionnaire required the level mark between pair words of image in opposition. And level marks in questionnaire were transformed to numerical scores, from -3 to 3. 30 paired items were analyzed on average, variance, correlation and factor analysis. US nursing students showed a special tendency in average score, that might be connected with the social status of nursing profession. In general, nursing students would have more obvious pic-ture of profession than others, and nutritional students showed most monotonous picture. Many characteristics by school on professional image would bring meaningiul suggestions to training education. Particularly intensity of 'interesting' and 'valuable' image shown highly and uniformly in score of US nursing students, must be a precious guideline for our education.
