• This style guide is a result of cooperative work by Dr. Ilcheong Yi, Associate Professor, Graduate School of Social and Cultural Studies, Kyushu University and the students reading masters and doctors in the Graduate School of Social and Cultural Studies, Chie Iwasaki, Chiaki Kazama, Mori Katsuma, Jahye Kim, Yaping Liu, and Minho Song. It aims to provide the students writing theses and academic articles at the graduate school with a guide on quoting, citing and referencing. The main contents are based on the rules and regulations of the Japanese academic journal 'shakaigakuhyouron' and the style guides of University of Harvard and Oxford University. Authors will be pleased to have comments on this to improve the contents further.
