A hydrodynamic structure of turbulent round impinging jet and free turbulent jet was studied experimentally using PIV. The influence of external periodical jet forcing was explored. The complete set of statistical moments was calculated using PDF based validation algorithm. For correct calculation of differential characteristics the appropriate interpolation and derivative calculation schemes were applied. All the terms of axial mean momentum and turbulent kinetic energy balance equations were obtained, assuming pressure diffusion term is to be considered as a residual one.
