This report aims to study the convection of paramagnetic fluid affected by a strong magnetic field of a super-conducting magnet. The paramagnetic fluid is a mixture of aqueous solution of glycerol (80% in mass) and gadolinium nitrate hexahydrate of 0.8 [mole/kg] with further addition of thermo-chromic liquid crystals for temperature visualization. Fluid is filled in a cubic enclosure heated and cooled from opposing vertical walls and placed in a vertical bore of a magnet. When the enclosure is placed above the centre of solenoid, Nu=7.05 at 0 [T] and at Ra_0=1.25×10^5 increases to 12.3 at 5 [T] at the solenoid center. When it is below the centre of solenoid, Nu=6.15 at 0 [T] and at Ra_0=1.36×10^5 once decreases to 4.48 at 1 [T] and increases to 10.8 at 5 [T]. Temperature visualization is shown with 10 [T] magnet.
