This paper proposes two steganographic methods for the palette-based images quantized by the Fibonacci lattices. Using the color image representation, one can easily determine which points are in the neighborhood of a point by checking the index value assigned to points. One steganographic method proposed in this paper embeds one bit into one pixel with high quality and fast computational time by using the property of the point neighborhood. Another is able to embed more secret information than the former one with some image degradation allowed. In the experiment, we show the performance of the proposed methods and compare another embedding method.
