With the following list of all his literary works, we can see his activities. His works can be divided into three periods; (1) from 1923 to 1928, he wrote avant-garde short stories, (2) from 1929 to 1931, he took part in modernistic activity, (3) at the end of the year 1931, he made a declaration of 'Shin-shakaiha'. In 1932, he appeared a serial story 'Jinsei Tokkyu'. After that, he wrote enlightening books. He used novel and unconventional techniques in his short stories, tried to write stories cooperatively, and also advocated 'Shin-shakaiha'. It was the experimental and provocative attitude throughout his career that he tried to change the current view of the Japanese literature.
