As PACS prevails, importance of quality control in medical image displays is growing. And methods are being developed around the globe in the form of guidelines and regulations. Demands arising from the field for easy and quantitative quality control are also increasing. In response to such market trends, we developed the "i model" for medical imaging. In this paper, we discuss what quality means for diagnostic displays, how we addresses the quality issues with the i model featuring by advanced luminance control system.
